Electronics

The Electronics group is responsible for design and development of, in the areas of electronics, the accelerator          control system and providing the technology support for the day-to-day operation of the SSRF. The group is             involved in various activities including both the timing system and the fast orbit feedback system in the field of             accelerator, and some works in the Shanghai advanced proton therapy facility, such as beam delivery system and       treatment control system.

SINAP Timing System

The Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SINAP) timing system devised by the electronics group, is synchronized with RF clock and AC line, and provides low jitter timing triggers with programmable polarity, pulse width and delay. The SINAP timing system has been used not only in the SSRF, but also in other facilities both domestic and foreign institutes, including

Pohang Light Source II (PLS-II)

SuperKEKB

Brazilian Light Source (SIRIUS)

Accelerator Driven Sub-critical System (ADS)

Chinese Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS)

The group is currently composed of 7 members.
