Experimental Preparation
To ensure smooth experimentation at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility, please follow the detailed experimental preparation steps below:
1.Preparation of Liquid Nitrogen Dewar: Before bringing crystal samples to the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility, they must be securely placed in a liquid nitrogen dewar. The use of liquid nitrogen is to ensure the stability of crystal samples at low temperatures, preventing degradation or damage during transfer. This step is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the crystal structure, thereby ensuring the accuracy and reliability of experimental data.
2.Pin Base Requirements: The length of the pin should be 18mm, and the inner diameter of the base should be 9.7mm. These specifications ensure that the base is compatible with the experimental equipment at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility, avoiding experimental failure or data loss due to equipment mismatch.
3.Preparation of Hard Drive: Considering the potentially large volume of experimental data, experimenters are required to prepare a hard drive with a capacity of at least 1TB for backing up data at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility.
