Synchrotron radiation X-ray imaging technology helps high-speed railway reach new speed

Date :2024-11-07

In order to solve the problem of black box in casting solidification, synchrotron radiation X-ray imaging technology is used to realize in situ observation and real-time imaging of alloy solidification behavior under electromagnetic control. It solved the "key bottleneck" issues in national major projects, and cooperated with enterprises to establish the world's first high-strength and high-conductivity copper chromium zirconium alloy horizontal electromagnetic continuous casting production line. It helped the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway achieve a speed of 486.1km per hour, and it broke the world's highest railway operating test speed.
