Sample preparation is not allowed in the working area of the beamline, usually the samples should be prepared in their own laboratory, and only simple operations such as bonding, cutting and polishing can be carried out on site. Toxic and hazardous radioactive samples (subject to the DST audit requirements) are not allowed to be prepared at SSRF, it must be prepared, packaged well in their own laboratory. Samples can only be stored in the designated area of the beamline.
