1.Users must complete online safety training, comply with the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation User Safety Notice, be familiar with various security content and requirements, and understand the security regulations.

2.All users must participate in the beamline safety and operation training organized by the beamline scientist on duty before the experiment. Users who did not attend the training should be trained by the on-site person in charge of the experiment.

3.During the experiment, users must comply with the operation procedure and obey the arrangement of the beamline scientist on duty. Users need to follow the correct procedures to operate the instruments and equipment. If any damage occurs due to the incorrect operation, the beam time applicant is responsible for the damage to the equipment.

4.Ensure that at least one user is at the beamline during the whole experiment.

5.Persons not on the Security Review Form are not allowed to use the beamline. Don’t bring any person not listed on the Security Review Form into Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility.

6.Do not eat in the experimental area. Only covered containers are allowed to hold drinking water. Please go to the users’ dining room for meals.

7.Do not use the computer and network of the beamline for operations unrelated to the experiment.

8.Ensure completion the experiment within the beam time to avoid affecting subsequent users.

9.Return the items and equipment of the beamline to their original location and inform the beamline scientist on duty. Ensure to close the maze entrance after use.

10.Do not stick the sample on the experimental bench. Clean the experimental area and take away the samples/waste after experiment. 

** Violations of regulations and operating procedures will be recorded and reported to the User Office of Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility to evaluate the affection on the user’s application and experimental arrangement.
