1.Each experimenter must wear the dosage card during the whole experiment, otherwise, he/she will be responsible for the consequences.

2.Please record the experiment carefully, including the purpose of the experiment, the name of the samples and their processing conditions, the name of the data file and the corresponding sample, the data record after processing, etc.

3.Users are not allowed to delete the information related to the experiment such as experiment records and data. For copying of experimental data, please consult the beamline personnel on duty. Please do not copy other people's data without authorization, or you will be responsible for the consequences.

4.After the experiment, please clean up the chemicals and garbage in time, wash the used utensils, and put all the experimental equipments back to the original place.

5.Please take out the samples and take them away after the experiment. In principle, the beamline is not responsible for keeping user samples. Users are responsible for taking away the toxic samples and all the garbage generated.

6.After the experiment, the user should process the data in time (within one month) and send it to the user coordinator of the beamline.

7.Eating is prohibited at the beamline. Please keep the beamline hygienic. There is a special user room (2051) for users to rest.

• During the initial alignment stage of the light path, it is best to watch in real time through the viewing window to prevent collisions when moving any translation stage within the STXM. In case of emergency, press the red button on the optical stage.

• Ensure that the PMT high voltage is off before changing samples or when opening the lid of the viewing window to observe the chamber inside. Before replacing the sample (or bleeding into the chamber), always make sure that the manual valve between the old and new chambers is closed and that the Piezo motor power is off.

• When returning to atmospheric pressure before replacing the sample, the molecular pump should be turned off first, and the mechanical pump should be turned off when the molecular pump speed drops below 100Hz.

• When pumping vacuum after changing samples, start the mechanical pump first, wait until the vacuum reaches 10^-1 Torr, then turn on the molecular pump. When the vacuum reaches 10^-4 Torr, the manual valve between the old and new chambers can be opened and the experiment can be started.

• The main detector used in the STXM chamber is a photomultiplier tube (PMT). Before starting the acquisition, make sure that the cover of the observation window on the experimental chamber is closed and that the PMT high voltage (1000V) is turned on.

• Do not use Chinese characters in the name of the saved data, otherwise the data format cannot be converted.

• The experimental operation process should be recorded in detail in a word document or an experimental record book, including the situation of the coordinates of the measured samples, the problems encountered in the experiment, and so on.
