The BL04 beamline is the first small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) user beamline in China (referred to as SinopecM by Sinopec). It serves as an X-ray scattering research platform dedicated to key scientific issues in chemical materials (such as high-performance fibers, catalysts, etc.) and chemical processes. The beamline utilizes a high-flux, high-collimation undulator source and integrates multiple characterization techniques, including small-angle/wide-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS/WAXS), microfocus small-angle/wide-angle X-ray scattering (µSAXS/WAXS), and grazing-incidence X-ray scattering. Part of the beamtime on BL04 is also open for application by public users.
