1. All users must complete the online safety training, strictly abide by the User Safety Guidelines of Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF), be fully familiar with all safety regulations and requirements.

2. A safety review form shall be submitted prior to experiments. If gas is to be used, relevant information shall be indicated in the form. Users shall bring their own gas equipment and remove it immediately after experiments. Application for auxiliary laboratory equipment shall be submitted together with the safety review; unauthorized use is prohibited.

3. Samples for medium-energy experiments must contain no volatile substances to maintain the vacuum level of the sample chamber. No powder shedding is allowed to prevent damage to the vacuum pump. For nano-CT experiments, samples shall be fabricated into cylinders with a diameter below 20 μm via FIB, or loaded into glass capillaries.

4. Users may consult the user supervisor in advance regarding sample preparation and experimental plans.
