Before experiment, users must submit the experimental safety audit form (generally submitted one week in advance), complete the personal safety training, and pass the safety assessment before receiving the relevant documents and materials. The safety training is valid for 12 months. Get the user card and dosimeter through the self-service machine, and enter the non-radiation control area (comprehensive office building, comprehensive experiment building, main experiment hall, etc.) after wearing them. Users can check in user’s hotel with user card .The user card and dosimeter are for special use and shall not be lent to others at will. In addition, users can prepare the sample information table according to the template in advance.

The terminal of the user experiment self-service system is located in the South Gate guard room of Shanghai Light Source (No. 239 Zhangheng Road). After arriving at the light source, users an query the information of the experiment subject through the experimental self-service terminal, confirm (or add) the information of the experimental personnel, print the user card and get the personal radiation dosimeter, and then get the access card from the guard, and then enter the experiment hall directly. After experiment, the radiation dosimeter should be retuened to the self-service terminal, and then filled in the project execution form through the user project management system.
