Research conducted at the BL17UM membrane protein beamline revealed a resolution of 1.2 Å for the structure of COF300, highlighting advancements in micro-scale crystallographic data collection and structural analysis methods.

At the BL17UM beamline, utilizing the multi-layer film monochromator X-ray crystallography method, the structural information of lysozyme protein crystals was successfully elucidated. It was found that the multi-layer film monochromator played a certain role in improving the crystal resolution, providing a clear direction for optimizing crystal crystallization conditions in the future.

In microfiber diffraction experiments, it was found that lateral scanning damages the fibers, prompting a modification to trapezoidal scanning (figure below).

The application of micro-area scanning diffraction technique in welding materials reveals detailed structural changes crucial for understanding mechanical properties and durability.
