Introduction of the Live Cell Super-resolution Microscopy Station

The live cell super-resolution microscopes use fluorescent probes to label specific targets and structures in the cell and utilize lasers for the excitation of fluorescence microscopy. Combined with 4Pi-microscopy technology, it allows to achieve high three-dimensional resolution imaging of ultra-structures and subcellular organelles. Correlated with X-ray imaging technology, the live cell super-resolution microscopy can image the fluorescent labelled ultra-structures in the context of the whole cell components.
